The Black Experience
The Black Experience is a student organization at VCU for African American studies majors and minors, and all others that are interested in the Department of African American Studies.
Our Purpose
- Explore and resolve social issues having to do with African Americans
- Educate students in understanding the experiences of African Americans and others that identify as Black
- Inform other university students on everything that the department has to offer
- Develop a strong sense of unity among African American studies majors and minors
